Constance C. DiFalco

Constance Corrine "Connie" DiFalco, 83, of Franklin died Sunday July 3, 2005, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, VA. 

Mrs. DiFalco was born July 13, 1922, in Haverhill, MA, and was the daughter of the late Henry Edmund "Pip" DeGrange and Corinne Langevin DeGrange.

She was the founder of the Valley Florist & Gift in Franklin and was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. 

Her husband, Francis "Frank" DiFalco, Sr., preceded her in death on April 20, 2002. 

Survivors include three sons, Francis "Frank" J. DiFalco, Jr., of Jacksonville, FL, Mark Robert Di Falco of Franklin, and Richard Michael DiFalco of Indianapolis, IN; and four grandchildren, Brian Di Falco of Franklin, Andrea DiFalco of Morgantown and Ryan and Alex Di Falco, both of Indianapolis, IN.  

The Rev. Mario Claro will conduct the funeral today at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic church.  Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Franklin Rescue Squad or the Franklin Volunteer Fire Department. 

Richard Lambert

Richard Cletus Lambert of Parsonsburg, Maryland, died Friday, July 29, 2005 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.  born in Zigler, West Virginia on may 23, 1925 he was a son of the late William Cain Lambert and Bessie Hartman Lambert.  Mr. Lambert had retired from J.V. Wells Lumber Company as a supervisor and had worked for J.I. Wells and the Koppers company.

Mr. Lambert was a World War II veteran, having served his country in the US Army in the European Theater.  He was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church, Veteran's of Foreign Wars and the Sand Dollar Walking club at the Centre of Salisbury.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nancy Lucy Lambert; three sons, Ronny C. Lambert of Salisbury, Richard C. Lambert and his wife Cindy of Delmar and Randy W. Lambert and his wife Crystal of Parsonsburg; three grandchildren, Michelle Mezick, Rebecca Rementer and Rayn Lambert; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Ona Davenport and Dormeta Wessells, both of Accomac, VA and Virginia Mason of Seaford, DE. 

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, August 1,2005 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at short Funeral Home in Delmar.  A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2005, at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron Pastor Woodrow S. Crouse will officiate. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1514 Old Ocean City Road, Salisbury, MD  21804. 

Catherine Nelson Kimble 

Catherine Virginia (Nelson) Kimble, 88, of Maysville died July 28, 2005, at her home. 

Mrs. Kimble was born March 19, 1917, in Cherry Grove and was the daughter of the late Paul nelson and Nancy Jane Waybright Nelson. 

She was a farmer most of her life.  She taught school in Pendleton and Grant counties, including Streby schoolhouse of Jordan Run Road and Maysville Grade School. 

Mrs. Kimble was a member of the Brick Church of the Brethren in Maysville,, where she was a lifelong deaconess.  She was employed at the former " Bunk" Simmons Store in Maysville for several years.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Kimble, on March 30, 1971. 

Survivors include a son, John E. Kimble of Petersburg; and three grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Karen J. Kimble of Roaring Spring, PA, and a special friend, Karen Sue Kimble of Maysville. 

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. 

She also was preceded in death by one son, mark L. Kimble; two brothers, Homan Nelson and Rev. Harding Nelson; and three sisters, Dosian Nelson (an infant), Ola Nelson Smith and Mildred Nelson Lambert.  

The Rev. Robert Spaid conducted the funeral Sunday at Brick Church of the Brethren.  Burial was at the South Branch Memorial Gardens in Petersburg.
