the County Clerk's Office. There is a
$2.00 fee for each certified document
requested, ($1.00 for a standard copy)
and you should also send along a self
addressed stamped envelope for the return
of documents to you. Birth records start
in 1853. For the most part, marriage records
and land records begin earlier. All of these
may be obtained from the county clerk.
