John Hamilton, Col. Morgan's 11th VA Regiment of Foot, and wife Rebecca Lafferty.

These pioneers were instrumental in establishing Nicholas County in April of 1818 in John Hamilton's home.
Several relatives and friends are also buried in this old cemetery.
