KELLEY, HENRY P

Funeral services for Henry P. Kelley, 70 years old, who died at his home at Flatwoods on Wednesday avenue, will be held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James N. Bailey of 925 Orange street at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon. He is survived by the widow, his daughter and two sons, O. F. Kelley of Charleston and Shelby Kelley of Dunbar; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Smith of Raymond City and two grandchildren, Mrs. Carmel Dean and Jess Everett Bailey of Charleston.

KIDD, EDNA L.

Edna L. Kidd, 84, of Charleston, died July 5, 2001, at CAMC General Hospital after a long illness. She was formerly employed by the Charleston and Elite Laundries and retired from Superior Laundry. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and was a lifelong resident of Charleston. Surviving are daughters, Katherine Dustin of Charleston and Janet Marie Redman of Bidwell, Ohio; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Harold Wightman officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park. Friends may call at Keller Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. She has gone to be with her Lord and will be greatly missed by her family.

KIDD, WILLIAM EDWARD

William Edward Kidd 89 of Charleston. Died Monday, Jan. 17, 2000, in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was a retired finisher from Charleston Concrete and was of the Nazarene faith. Surviving daughters Catherine Dustin of Charleston. Janet Marie Redman of Gallipolis Ohio. 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. service will be at 2pm Thursday at the Keller funeral home, Dunbar with Pastor Harold Wightman officiating. LANHAM, DELMAR C

Delmar C. Lanham, 74, of Charleston died Monday, April 27, 1998, in St. Francis Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired lift operator from the Kroger warehouse, attended Harper Memorial Church, was a member of the Teamsters Local 175 and a lifelong resident of Charleston. Surviving: sons, Delmar W. and Gary Lanham of Tyler Mountain, Dennis Lanham of Ohio; daughters, Denise and Mary Lanham of Tyler Mountain, Phyllis Jean Lanham of Tampa, Fla., adopted daughter, Emily Lanham of Tyler Mountain; stepmother, Sylvia Lanham of Dunbar; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. H.W. "Bill" Lanham officiating. Burial will be in Lanham Cemetery, Rocky Fork. LARCH, SAMUEL RICHARD

Samuel Richard "Dick'' Larch, 55, of Orange died Oct. 24, 2001, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Bridge City with a Masonic graveside service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A native of South Charleston, W.Va., he was a longtime resident of Orange and a Triangle Engineering mechanical engineer. Survivors include his wife, Jeanine Larch of Orange; sons, Sam Larch and John Larch, both of Houston; mother, Neva Johnston Larch of Elkview, W.Va.; brothers, Charles Larch of Elkview and Kenneth Larch and James Larch, both of Richardson; sisters, Barbara Larch Spradling of Clendenin, W.Va., and Helen Larch Stricklin and Betty Larch Tignor, both of Elkview; and one grandson. Mrs. Mary E. Lawrence, 76, Charleston Daily Mail, April 5, 1930, died at her home on Davis Creek Saturday morning. Funeral services will be held at the Ivydale church at 11 o'clock Sunday morning. Burial will be in the Hall Cemetery. Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her husband, William R. Lawrence.

Charleston Daily Mail, March 7, 1935 - - Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Friday morning at the Ivydale Baptist Church for William Riley Lawrence, 83 years old, who died Thursday morning at his home on Davis Creek. Burial will be in the Hall cemetery. He is survived by: Five sons, Charles J. Lawrence, of Clay; William M. Lawrence, of Owens; Edward Lawrence, of Carbon; Ezra Lawrence, of Charleston, and Gillis Lawrence, of South Charleston; two daughters, Mrs. Virgie Holstein, of Alcott, and Mrs. Millie Toney, of Charleston; 38 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

YAWKEY - Vesta G. Lawson, 100, of Yawkey died May 18, 2000, in Valley Health Village, South Charleston, after a long illness. She was a lifetime member of Porter Fork Baptist Church, a homemaker and a 94-year resident of Lincoln County. Surviving: sons, Carl of Charleston, Cecil of Grand Rapids, Mich.; daughter, Mildred Lavender of Chesapeake; sisters, Lena Harlan of Tennessee, Emma Stephens of Illinois; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She was a long-time resident of Charleston and a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist. Surviving are three sons, Samuel C., and Ernest M., of Charleston and Lawrence F. of Greensboro, N. C.; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Services tomorrow at 3 pm at Bartlett Funeral Home. Reader Harold Henigan will conduct the services. He was 95 years old, never married. He lived in High Point, Guilford North Carolina. The funeral services will be Monday 2:00 p m at Shady Grove United Methodist Church, 705 Shady Grove Road, Providence, N C with interment in the church cemetery.
