*There are many unmarked graves, especially some near where Walter F. Balser is buried. It is possible Joshua and Mary Balser and other Balsers are buried along there. Subsequently, it has been the Balser Cemetery for about 122 years. Joshua bought this land in 1878 from Virginia Schoolcraft, land bordering L.D. Hill on Bell Creek.
