WILL OF RICE GRINSTEAD

I Rice Grinstead of the County of Kanawha and State of Virginia considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament, that is to say, I give and bequeath to my father and Mother, William H. Grinstead and Elizabeth Grinstead the farm on which they now live to have and to hold for ever as witness thare of I have hereunto set my had and sealt this ninth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and fifty five.

At a Circuit Court held for Kanawha County the 15th day of June, 1857.

This last will & testament of Rice Grinstead dec’d was this day presented in Court and proved by the oaths of William Grinstead & Joshua L Harriman, subscribing witnesses thereto & ordered to be recorded.
