WILL OF SARAH ELIZA CHILTON
In the Name of God, amen I Sarah Eliza Chilton being now of sane mind and memory, do make this as and for my last will and testament. This is to say, I give to my sister Frances E Chilton my two negro slaves Fielding and Jane the said slaves being my property by Deed of Bargain and sale, a gift from my father in his life time, as well as all the property, real or personal, divided or undivided, which I have or may hereafter have either by the will and testament of my late father, or which may have descended to me as distribute of my said father, it being my will and desire to give to her, my said sister, Frances E Chilton, all my property, real or personal, and of whatsoever kind. In testimony hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 29th of December 1835

At a court held for Kanawha County the 11th day of January 1856 The last will and testament of Sarah E Chilton deceased was this day presented in court, proved by the oaths of James Y Quarrier James M Laidley subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to recorded.
