At a court held for Kanawha County at the Court House thereof on Monday the 14th day of March 1825.

This Appraisement Bill of the Estate of John Austin decd was this day presented in Court and Ordered to be recorded. W E Thomas Price, Philip Ballard, Sr, and John B Brown appointed by an order of Kanawha County in conjunction with Th.. …….. and John Sparr to appraise the personal Estate and slaves of John Austin decd and make report to said Court being sworn for that purpose do appraise Estate agreeably to the respective valuations placed opposite each article of property in the following listing.
