BETHEL CEMETERY
Huntington, Cabell Co., WV
Cemetery was originally started for the Afro-American population of Huntington. My understanding is there are several whites buried there also. The cemetery is located off of Norway Avenue in Huntington, WV.
There appears to be numerous unmarked graves. The cemetery is in poor condition. About 2 years ago a program was initiated to clear the cemetery of the over growth. It has since become overgrown again. There are graves in and down the side of the hill. Some are impossible to get too. Bethel Cemetery was started by the McClain Funeral Home. My understanding is the original records no longer exist.
