The Society hosts a number of projects, some like the National Burials Indexing Project have a project co-ordinator, the NBI project leader is Phil Bufton

The Powys Strays Index is a collection of entries from multiple sources of people who were born in one of the 3 counties of Breconshire, Montgomeryshire and Radnorshire and have been found by other societies or individuals and the information submitted to the index.

The index is free to access by e-mail or by post at:

Projects Co-ordinator

The majority of the other indexing projects are co-ordinated by the Powys FHS Projects Co-Odinator Mike MacSorley.

These include indexing of census records and recording or checking of Monumental Inscriptions
