EMAILS TO THE SOCIETIES & THEIR WEBMASTERS

For your convenience, the details below of each member Society includes the email address for contact purposes (normally that of its Secretary) and for its Webmaster.

However, you must remember that all our Societies are administered and run by enthusiastic amateurs in their spare time, often at the cost of neglecting their own researches. Society Secretaries and Webmasters therefore do not have the time to deal with any email, other than that relating directly to the tasks they carry out for their Society.

Regrettably, any emails they receive on other subjects, such as general enquiries about personal researches from non-members of the Society, usually have to be ignored, since even the normal courtesy of a reply takes up time that should be spent on other activities.

Instead, we suggest that you visit the web-site of the Society you are interested in, by clicking on its name below. If you do not find your answer there, or via any links it may provide, one of our webmaster's other sites Relative Links provides direct links to a comprehensive selection of genealogy sites. One category is "Research in Wales" and, if you go to that category on the "Shortcuts" page, you will find links to such pages as Wales/Cymru [Cyndi's List] and Wales [GENUKI]. There is also a separate category on "How to carry out research".
