The committee on arrangements for the Farmer's Institute, to be held here January 23rd and 24th, met at Brazeau's Hall Thursday afternoon. The meeting was a most successful one, and was largely attended by over fifty farmers and Nekoosa businessmen. At the meeting the following committees were selected:
A committee to have general charge of the Institute and arrange for advertising, entertainment and prizes--J. D. HARRING, chairman; Henry E. FITCH, secretary; H. E. HERRICK, Austin SHONTZ and Martin BRANDT.
The meeting also selected the following committees to serve to arrange for the several exhibits and also to act as judges of same:
Committee on Corn Exhibits: Frank McGARIGLE, Arthur WELLS and Gust WHITTENBERG
Committee on Potatoes and Vegetables: Victor LIND, J. B. WEBBER, R. C. C. VEHRS.
Committee on Grain and Seeds: H. H. VOSS, Joseph BERARD, Robert LARSON
Committee on Poultry: F. R. GODDARD, C. C. NELSON, Robert LARSON
Committee on Dairy Butter: Joseph GAZELEY, Mrs. Charles SARVER, August RAUFMAN.
