The Masonic Hall at Marshfield was crowded to overflowing last

attending the joint installation of the new officers of the
Masonic and Eastern Star lodges…
The following Masonic officers were installed by

At the conclusion of the installation ceremonies Dr. Lathrop delivered an
address on "The Masonic Order." He was followed by Worshipful Master E. A.
UPHAM on "The Masonic Lodge of Marshfield." The words of both gentlemen
were listened to with close attention and the auditors were given a
clearer idea of the aims and objects of Masonry than they had
previously possessed.
Then followed the installation of the recently elected officers of
the Eastern Star lodge by Mrs. Harry FERGUSON:

| A. L. MEFFERT | Sentinel |

Mrs. Ames closed with an interesting and instructive talk on the
"Order of the Eastern Star." Various vocal selections were given by
Misses Grace and Anna FERGUSON, Gertie WINCH, Ruby RIGGS, Florence
GREGG and Mrs. A. L. MEFFERT.
The nearly one hundred assembled guests, Masons and Eastern Star
repaired to the Hotel Blodgett members at the conclusion of the
program where a banquet awaited them
