Rush Lake Cemetery Contributed by Janet Eiler

8696 Grams Rd Nespeuskum Township, Location: State Hwy 91 West, Take Cty Tk E South, Grams Road East

Rush Lake/Krebs Cemetery is located on private property and permission should be
granted before entering the cemetery grounds. The cemetery is not visible from the
road. The present owner (2001) is Leonard Welsch residing at 8696 Grams Rd., Ripon,
 WI 54971 (920)748-7169.

The story behind this cemetery is that one of the previous owners leased this land
to a local canning company. As they worked the fields they got closer and closer to
the cemetery boundry. They eventually moved the stones toward the center of the
cemetery and started to work the cemetery grounds into the field.

RushLake/Krebs Cemetery started out to be 1/4 of an acre and is little to nothing
now. The remaining stones lay within the tree line between two fields. There has
been no upkeep for years and is overgrown with weeds and downed trees.

This reading does not indicate location of rows. Stones were transcribed as they
were found.
