Harry A. Bartelt
Harry A. Bartelt, 80, Oshkosh, died Sunday evening in Bethel Home.
He was born May 17, 1905, in Vinland, the son of Herman and Theresa Laude Bartelt. He married Mildred Stroede Sept. 6, 1928 in Oshkosh. She died June 20, 1974.
Mr. Bartelt had been employed at U.S. Motors.
Surviving is one sister, Esther Bernhard, Oshkosh.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, the Rev. Ralph Hanusa officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.

Mrs. Harry Bartelt
Mrs. Harry Bartlet, 68, of 2352 Hickory Lane, died unexpectedly at 3:16 a.m. today at Mercy Medical Center.
The former Mildred Stroede was born in Oshkosh on July 26, 1905, the daughter of Gustave and Elsie Stroede and married Harry Bartelt in Oshkosh on Sept. 6, 1928.
Survivors include her widower and one brother, Gilbert Stroede, Rt. 3, Wautoma.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Konrad Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hattie Bathke, 77, sister of Mayor Ernest R. Siewert, died Thursday at 7:20 p.m. at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, following a heart attack. She had resided for the past year and one half at the Lutheran Home in Fond du Lac.
Daughter of the late Ernest and Marie Siewert, she was born April 22, 1878, in Posen, Germany, and was brought to this country and directly to Oshkosh when a child.
She was married Sept. 22, 1904, in Oshkosh to Otto Bathke, who preceded her in death Jan. 7, 1933. Following their marriage, they lived in Norwood, O., for 10 years before returning to Oshkosh. She was a member of Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid of the church.
Surviving are one son, Capt. E. Siewert Bathke, stationed at Gulfport Naval Station, Miss.; one brother, Ernest R. Siewert, Oshkosh; one sister, Mrs. Leone Bertram, Milwaukee; and two grandchildren. Two brothers, Henry and Raymond Siewert, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Steinhilber, preceded her in death.
Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Marquardt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul W. Lueders, pastor of Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from Sunday at 4 p.m. until the hour of services.
