The following faculty have been engaged for the Hancock public school,
which will once more be the scene of student activity when the doors are
opened Monday August 27th.
Bender Miss Iva, Teacher, 7th and 8th Grades
Dewar Miss Bessie, Teacher, English
Jacobsen H. C., Teacher, Commerical Department
Johnson Miss Elvira, Teacher, 3rd and 4th Grades
Marks Miss Sadie, Teacher, 5th and 6th Grades

Rathermel Miss Phyllis, Teacher, 1st and 2nd Grades

The new teachers in the faculty are Miss Dewar of Westfield; Miss Marks of
Wautoma; and Miss Johnson of Redgranite. Mr. Meyer will have charge of
baseball and Mr. Jacobsen will train the boys for track and basketball.
Miss Spevachek will be in charge of athletics for the girls. Miss Dewar
will be in charge of the Glee Club. Ernest Weber will again instruct and
direct the school band. Henry Ciperlie is janitor again this year and the
school building has been thoroughly cleaned and made ready for the opening
of school. A feature that is of importance to those contemplating
enrollment is that free textbooks will be furnished. This should be of
interest to students and their parents inasmuch as it will not be necessary
for them to purchase textbooks.
