Three Lakes Genealogical Society 

Minutes Ð September 28, 2015 

 

Members Present: Les Anderson, Robert and Nancy Bailey, Maureen Brand, Nancy Brewster, Bob 
Curran, Robert E. Killick, and Donna Mather 

There were no guests. 


Vice-President Nancy Brewster called the meeting to order at 1:07 p.m. 


Nancy Bailey agreed to be secretary for the next year, so there was no need to elect officers for 
the coming year. 


Noreen Rossa will be Sunshine Chair. Email her regarding needs for Òsunshine.Ó 


The Annual Winter Party will be at noon on Monday, December 7. We will use the same format as 
in previous years. Meat, cheese, buns and condiments will be provided. Bring a side dish/dessert 
and something to decorate the tables. 


Members going to Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, IN were requested to bring back 
information books for our members. Also, there is a book there by Bob Curran. 

 
Secretary Nancy Bailey presented the minutes from August 24, 2015. The date of the meeting 
was corrected to August 24. The minutes were approved as corrected. 


Treasurer Robert Bailey presented the TreasurerÕs Report. The report was filed. 


Members discussed the possible need for a membership chair. No decision was made. 


New Business Ð The Secretary will begin to revise the membersÕ list in November. 

 
Brick Walls, etc. were discussed. 

 
The next meeting will be at 1:00 p.m. on October 26. It will be in the Community Room of Demmer 
Library. The program is TBD. (Remember there is no meeting in November.) 


The meeting adjourned at 2:05. 


Nancy Brewster talked about the genealogical research items available in the Local History Room.
