Three Lakes Genealogical Society 

Minutes Š 27 October 2014 

 

Members Present: Bob and Nancy Bailey, Roger Blocks, Maureen Brand, Irene Farkas, 
Donna Mather, Jim McDonough, June McDuffie, Charlene Roberts, and Debby Selman 

Guests: Arnold and Debra Nelson 

 

President Roger Blocks called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. 

 

Secretary Nancy Bailey presented the minutes, which were corrected to include the first 
name of Margaret for the Holtorp board in the Historical Society display. 

The minutes were approved as corrected. 

The minutes, without the financial details, will be included on our website. 

 

Treasurer Robert Bailey presented the TreasurerÕs Report. The report was approved by 
the members. 

 

Old Business 

„ There will be no November meeting. 
„ The Christmas Party will be at noonŠ3 p.m. on Monday, December 8 in the 
Community Room, Demmer Memorial Library. Spouses and other guests are invited. 


 

New Business 

„ The Board will meet to discuss programs for 2015. 
„ Charlene Roberts needs articles for the newsletter. 
„ Guests and members introduced themselves. There is a need for name placards at 
our meetings. Roger Blocks will make them. 
„ Eva GutoskiÕs file is in the History Room upstairs. 


 

The meeting was adjourned. 

 

Two topics were discussed during the program. 

„ Roger Blocks hosted the summary of our membersÕ trip to Allen County Library in 
Indiana. 
„ Robert Bailey gave a presentation on Beginning Excel.
