Three Lakes Genealogical Society Minutes а June 22, 2015 Members Present: Robert and Nancy Bailey, Roger G. Blocks, Nancy Brewster, Marie Byatt, Irene Farkas, Barbara Hacker, Mary Hitchcock, Robert E. Killick, Charlene Roberts, and Debby Selman Guests Present: Marge Blocks, Virginia and Bob Douglas, Nancy Haig, Shawn Mongey, John Roberts, and Todd and Tara Johnson and family President Roger Blocks called the meeting to order at 1:02 p.m. Secretary Nancy Bailey presented the minutes from May 18, 2015. The minutes were approved as printed. Treasurer Robert Bailey presented the Treasurerеs Report. It was accepted by the members. A вThank youг note was received from the Three Lakes Public Library Foundation for our donation. Old Business: Ѕ The brochure will be done. Ѕ Irene Farkas discussed the grant process for the obituary project. The obituary project now covers 12/13 years and includes 4286 obituaries. New Business TLGS had a booth at the Heritage Fest. The first 1ЅЅЅ-2ЅЅЅ hours were very successful. No more people participated after that. Show and Tell а Members shared their successes. Members and guests introduced themselves and shared what genealogy projects they are or arenеt working on. The program for July will be presented by Erica Brewster. She will discuss how to best utilize Demmer Memorial Library as well as other libraries. The meeting adjourned at 1:30. p.m. Todd Johnson from Eau Claire discussed his research for a book about the personnel of the Eau Claire Police Department.
