Three Lakes Genealogical Society 

Minutes Ð July 27, 2015 

 

Members Present: Les Anderson, Robert and Nancy Bailey, Marge Behling, Roger G. Blocks, Nancy 
Brewster, Irene Farkas, Mary Hitchcock, Robert E. Killick, June McDuffie, Charlene and John Roberts, 
Noreen Rossa, Debby Selman, and Colleen Thompson 

Guests Present: Erica Brewster, Judy Block, Dean Miller, and Joyce Mogytch 

 

President Roger Blocks called the meeting to order at 1:05 p.m. 

 

Members and guests introduced themselves and discussed their genealogical endeavors. 

 

Secretary Nancy Bailey presented the minutes from June 22, 2015. The minutes were approved as 
printed. 

 

Treasurer Robert Bailey presented the TreasurerÕs Report. There was no activity since June 22. 

 

There was no old business. 

 

New Business 

¥ Debby Selman reported that the Find-a-Grave project for the Three Lakes Cemetery is up to 
date. 
¥ Debby Selman discussed the advantages of using Dropbox. It can share between devices, and 
other people. 
¥ Debby Selman discussed the advantages of using a second monitor Ð even with a laptop. 


 

The next meeting will be at 1:00 p.m. on August 24. It will be in the Community Room of Demmer Memorial 
Library. The program has yet to be confirmed. The speaker will be Dr. Sean Dwyer. 

The meeting adjourned at 1:45 p.m. 

 

Erica Brewster, Library Director of Demmer Memorial Library, presented the program Ð ÒResearch in 
Three Lakes; What we have to help you figure out where you came from.Ó She also discussed the building 
project involving Demmer Memorial Library, Three Lakes Historical Museum and Three Lakes Town 
offices.
