Life should be an adventure
We are a local group of genealogy researchers. We reside here in Shawano County and have put together a local website to better help other researchers. We are working hard to transcribe all the Vital Records we can. We are re-indexing the huge volumes of Obituaries stored here in Shawano, which now will include new research on old partial obits and adding the Marion Advertiser 1896 to 1950. This is ongoing as we work on it but don't hesitate to ask for an obit if not found on the present listing. That will not be updated until all 119 Volumes are finished.
We have finished walking and photographing 136 Cemeteries in Shawano County. This aided us to add to our first initial posting of Cemeteries, but some stones sadly are no more. This effort was made to give you a visual of your ancestors last resting place. We plan on adding 5 cemeteries from the Menominee Reservation.
