Hemine Betzner

 

Hemine Betzner, age 99, of 1250 Evergreen St, Shawano, died Sunday, Aug 25, 1991 in Shawano.

 

She was born Feb 25, 1892 in the Town of Wien to the late Herman and Ida (Mueller) Borchardt.  She married Paul Betzner on Jun 24, 1919 in the Town of Wien.  He preceded her in death on Nov 3, 1968.  She attended Marathon County Normal School, Wausau, and was a school teacher in the Town of Wien for several years.  She was a member of the Ladies Aid.

 

Survivor include 1 daughter, Lydia Hollinger of Wausau; 2 sons, Ewald (Eva) Betzner of Bonduel, and Enck (Alice) Betzner of Wausau; 22 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Naomi Ammerman; 3 sons, Franklin, Clifford, and Ronald; and a grandson, John Bewner.

 

Funeral services will be held Wed, Aug 28, at 11 am at St John’s Lutheran Church, Town of Wien.  Burial in the church cemetery.  Friends may call Tue, 4 until 9 pm at the church, and 10 am Wed and time of services.  Prayer service for the family will be at 3:45 pm Tue.
