LEWISTON, Clair O. (picture 1)
Spring Valley, Wis.  Enlisted June 25, 1917 with Co. C, 3rd Wis. National Guard, at Hudson, Wis.  Trained at Camp Douglas and Camp MacArthur, Texas.  Went overseas with the 32nd Div., serving with Co. C, 128th Inf., and with Co. I, 16th Inf.  Killed in action July 19, 1918, at Soissons.
LINDER, Edgar L. (picture 2)
El Paso, Wis.  Joined the colors Sept. 19, 1917, at Ellsworth, Wis., being assigned to Co. D, 341st Inf., at Camp Grant, Ill.  Went overseas in April, 1918, with Headquarters Co. of the 28th Inf.  Died while in the service.
MATTISON, Wm. (picture 3)
Spring Valley, Wis.  Joined the colors July 23, 1918, at Hudson, Wis.  Trained with he 29th Co., 161st Depot Brigade at Camp Grant, Ill.  Went to France in Sept. 1918, with Co. B, 353rd Inf.  Killed in action Oct. 25, 1918, at the Argonne front.
MOORE, Myron George (picture 4)
Ellsworth, Wis.  Joined the colors June 15, 1918, at Madison, Wis.  Was assigned to Co. 33, 161st Depot Brigade at Camp Grant, Ill., where he died Oct. 6, from pneumonia.
NEPPL, John (no picture)
Ellsworth, Wis.  Enlisted service at Minneapolis, Minn., Dec. 11, 1917.  Trained at Great Lakes, Ill.  Died in Naval Hospital, Great Lakes, Ill., Jan. 16, 1918, from influenza and pneumonia.
NYTRON, Peter (picture 5)
Spring Valley, Wis.  Joined the colors May 28, 1918, at Ellsworth, Wis.  Trained at Camp Grant, Ill., and at Camp Lee, Va.  Went overseas in July, 1918, with Veterinary Hosp. No. 10.  died Oct. 13, 1918, at Bourbonne les Baines from influenza.
O'CONNEL, George (no picture)
Joined the colors in Sept., 1917, at Camp Lewis, Wash.  Died Dec. 19, 1917, at Camp Merritt, N.J., where he was preparing to sail for overseas.  No photo available.
OLSON, Oscar W. (picture 6)
Maiden Rock, Wis.  Joined the colors April 3, 1918, at Ellsworth, Wis., being assigned to Co. 25, C.A.C., at Ft. Casey, Wash.  died of pneumonia Jan. 15, 1919, at Camp Grant Ill.
PATTERSON, Howard (picture 7)
Maiden Rock, Wis.  Joined the colors June 29, 1917, at Hudson, Wis., enlisted with Co. C, 128th Wis. N.G.  Trained at Camp MacArthur, Texas.  Went overseas Feb. 18, 1918, with Co. G. 16th Inf., 1st Div.  Killed in action at Sedan Nov. 8, 1918.  Took part in the battles of Chateau Thierry, Soissons and the Argonne.

 

PETERSON, Benjaman (picture 8)
Hager City, Wis.  Joined the colors July 23, 1918, at Ellsworth, Wis.  Trained at Camp Grant, Ill.  Overseas in Sept., 1918, with Co. L, 56th Inf.  Died Jan. 2, 1919, from pneumonia while in France.
