The following photos were contributed by Emma KOLAC in January 2013 as UNKNOWN siblings of the MULVIHILL and/or MULLANE families.  Most probably they are the children of John and Bridget (MULLANE) MULVIHILL of the Towns of Nasewaupee and/or Forestville in Door County, Wisconsin. "We only know that the people in the photos are children and spouse(s) of the children of John and Bridget Mullane Mulvihill.  The Mulvihill children were Catherine, Mary Ann, Michael, John, William, Bridget, James, Joseph, Ellen, Stephen, and Theresa. We do not know their individual identities.  We hope that some visitor to your website will be able to identify the subjects of the photos.  As far as we know, there are no existing photos of John and Bridget Mullane Mulvihill"-Emma KOLAC-(20 Dec 2012).

"Bridget Mullane (b. 1835, Co. Limerick)  married John Mulvihill (b. 1831, Ireland) in Pennsylvania.  Around 1860, they moved to Nasewaupee, Door County, where they raised their family.  Bridget died in 1889, John in 1894.  They had the following children:  Catherine, who married David C. Vanalstine; Mary Ann, who married Edward Kenny; Michael, who married Francis Ploer;  John, who married Jennie Langlois; William, who married Mary Ann Keogh; Bridget, who married Joseph Stoneman; James; Joseph, who married Mary Ann Kenny and Christine Ficke; Ellen; Stephen; and Theresa who married Arthur Washburn.  

Bridget's brother, John Mullane (b. 1840, Co. Limerick), moved to Nasewaupee and lived next to Bridget and John Mulvihill.  He farmed and was active in town politics.  He married Nora Fitzgerald (b. 1859, Ireland).  Their children were John, James, Kathryn, and Winnifred.  He died in 1893.

Bridget and John Mullane's sister Mary married Ed Quaid (b. New York) and lived in Pennsylvania.  Mary and Ed's son Thomas and daughter Catherine "Katie" moved to Door County.  Katie (b. 1859, Pennsylvania)  marrried Edward O'Hern  (b. Co. Tipperary) and lived in Nasewaupee.  Their children were William; Mary, who married Garret Moore; Joseph, who married Frances Pischel; Edward; Gertrude, who married Thomas White; and Isabel, who married James Burns.

I will be emailing four separate jpeg files containing photos of various Mulvihill children.  Would you please post them on the Unknowns area of your website.  We know that they are Mulvihills, but we haven't been able to identify each individual.  Thank you very, very much.
