... You have them listed as Whiteney when they should be Whiteley. Albert Whiteley was the son of Joshua Whiteley, Sr. Joshua is featured in the book the History of Racine and Kenosha Counties by Western Historical Society. You can find information listed for him under his two children's names, Joshua M (Jr.) and M.J.

Joshua Jr. looks like he's buried in the plot under J.M. Albert is a sibling of these M.J. and Joshua M. He married Cordelia Parks. She's listed as Cornelia on your website. And the 1880 Federal census from Reddish township, Lewis Cty, MO lists their children as Minnie E. (b. abt. 1869), Josephine E. (b. abt. 1870), Isabelle (b. abt. 1875) Albert L. (b. abt. 1876), John R. (b. abt. 1878) and Sarah (b. abt. 1879).

Albert L. is there in the plot, so I'm sure this is them. You can connect Albert Sr. (b. 1849) to Joshua Whiteley through the 1850 Federal Census, Pleasant Prairie. Could you change the name so that others might be able to find them??

Thank you so much for this listing. I've been searching for Albert and Cordelia for a long time. I'd tracked them to MO and I knew they came back to Wisconsin, but I couldn't find them in the censuses. Now I know they're here!

In Southwest corner of Lot 51 is Florence Valinda Prescott. Infant daughter of Leon & Elizabeth Prescott. She died Sept. 21, 1953. She was born Sept. 3,1953.

In Lot 52 Starting in Soutwest corner going north is: Ralph Taylor , He died in 1948, next to him is Larry Taylor, next to him is William T.Taylor then there are 3 more plots for the Taylor family.

William Taylor is an Uncle of my husbands Ralph and Larry are his cousins. Florence Valinda Prescott is my husbands 1/2 sister. We are placing her head stone this July .

Location: Town of Pleasant Prairie, west of Kenosha on Highway 50 at 92nd Street, on north side of road
At a meeting on 7 January 1850, it was resolved to name the cemetery for Joseph Vale, a trustee who had donated the land for the purpose of a cemetery.

Early records show the following purchased lots at Vale Cemetery. It is not known if they are buried at this cemetery.

Many monuments have been broken and removed. The cemetery is in need of care. The grass has grown over parts of flat monuments. Two Civil War markers still stand. The cemetery is fenced, and the fence is also in need of repair.
