Two acres of land was given to the First German Presbyterian Church by Bernard BECKER and his wife
on 9 June 1873. This land to be used for a church cemetery. The legal description of the land
would be W 1/2 NE 1/4 3-1-19.
Mrs. Harry POWLES, Silver Lake, Wisconsin has the records (in 1973). Mr. Clarence BIENEMAN, Rt. #5, Burlington Wisconsin is the caretaker and lives just east of the cemetery in the first house east of the cemetery (in 1973). A church has been moved off the property. It was built in the front of the cemetery land. This cemetery is well kept and Mrs. POWLES informed me that all the graves are marked with monuments. |
