CRANBERRY CENTER
Cranberry country extended from Mather in Kingston Township southeast through northern Cutler and into westtern Necedah Town almost to the banks of the Yellow River. The leading village was the rail depot at Cutler, which retained its name as Cranberry Center from1892 until 1913.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerome O'Connor called upon friends at the station last Friday.
Nearly everyone of the cranberry growers hereabouts have been burning their old winter killed vines. New vines are sprouting in fine shape.
Our school expects to give another exhibition Friday evening, June 14. We have been pleased to notice that every term has shown marked improvement in this respect, and we hope both our citizens and many from abroad will show their appreciation of our young people's efforts by attending this exhibition which will be held in H. O. Kruschke's hall as affording better accommodation to an audience.
Mrs. Wm. Evans, attended by her eldest son, went to Necedah last Saturday.
