BENARD BELSCAMPER, farmer and blacksmith, Sec. 10; P. O. Lancaster; born in Prussia in 1827; came to America in 1852, and settled in Chicago; followed blacksmithing for nearly one year; then moved to Grant Co., Wis., where he has since lived. Was married in 1855, to Miss Emmaranza Bukl, a daughter of Peter Bukl. Has 80 acres of land; he had the misfortune to lose his house by fire; his loss was $1,600. Has five children; is a Greenbacker in politics, and a member of the Catholic Church.
