LANCASTER

CHARLES H. ANGUS, farmer, Sec. 30; P. O. Lancaster; he was born in Montgomery Co., N. Y.; came to Grant Co. in March, 1862. He was married, in 1862, to Miss Mary Ward, a native of Lancaster. In January, 1863, he enlisted in Co. K, 47th W. V. I., and served about eight months, when he was discharged from the hospital on account of disability. They have five children - John D., Ed W., Charles B., George P. and Laura C. Mrs. Angus is a member of the Congregational Church. Mr. A. is a member of the I. O. O. F., and in politics a Republican.
