When Rienzi Cemetery was founded in 1845, it consisted of 8.5 acres of land donated by the Tallmadge family.
Pamphlet In 1865 the cemetery published a pamphlet about the Cemetery Association and its purpose,
as well as a listing of all the current lot holders.

Two sections of the Old Grounds were set aside for single gravesites. Now designated on current cemetery maps as Lots 229 and 230, the
majority of burials in this single section are unmarked. Of the 154 known burials in the two single lots, the age breakdown is as follows: |
