William F Matzke, 89 DePere, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007.  Bill was born on Dec. 25, 1917, in Ledgeview, son of the late Phillip and Elizabeth (Rauschenbach) Matzke.  He married Doretta (Dot) Nuss on Dec 9, 1939 at St. Mary Church in DePere.  Bill volunteered at the DePere Senior Center , St. Mary's Church, and was a driver for the Meals on Wheels program.  He was a member of the Golden Kiwanis and was twice nominated for the Silver Knight Award.  Bill was also a veteran of World War II.  Survivors include his daughter, Linda (Ted) Berriman, Kimberling City, Mo, three grandchildren, Bart (Brenda) Rottier, Pelham, Ala, Aleta (Brian) Kaplan, Middleton, WI, and Debbie (Jason )Foss, De Pere, Six great grand children, Mitchell and Nathan Rottier, Allison and Amber Kaplan, and Morgan and Jacob Foss.  He was preceded in death by his wife , Doretta, son, William E, eight brothers, and one sister and their spouses.  Family and friends may call..Cotter Funeral Home, DePere...Mass at St. Mary Catholic Community, Ledgeview.  Interment will be in Mt Olivet Cemetery, DePere
