William D. Rentmeester, 80, Rt 2, Green Bay died at a local nursing home Friday after a short illness.  The son of the late Desire and Elizabeth Rentmeester, was born in the former Town of Preble and married Theresa Loy in 1917.  The couple farmed in the Town of Humboldt until retirement 5 years ago.  He was a member of the Holy Name Society.  Mr. Rentmeester was preceeded in death by two brothers, John and Peter, and two sisters, Angeline Pierquet and Mable Rentmeester.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Robert (Marion), Denmark; Ervin (Patricia) Humboldt; three daughters, Helen (Harvey) DeGrave, Adeline (Edwin) Phillips, and Arlene (Anton) Skaletski, Denmark, four brothers, Albert, Norbert, Bernard, and Ed; two sisters, Ann (Fred) Vanden Bush and Lucille (Walter) Baumgart, all of Green Bay.
