Clifford "Cliff" Joseph DeBauche, 79, Mountain, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at Woodland Village in Suring. Clifford was born March 28, 1927, in Green Bay to the late Seraph and Clemence (Marchand) DeBauche.

Cliff was a United States Army veteran who served with Company A, 70th Tank Battalion during World War II. He was awarded the World War II Victory Ribbon for serving in Germany. On Aug. 21, 1948, he married Jean A. Deckert at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Green Bay. They started their new life together in Green Bay and later had a vacation home near Mountain at Green Lake Trailer Court. After working for many years at Fort Howard Paper Company, Cliff retired in Feb. of 1989. He and his beloved wife Jean then moved to their retirement property in Mountain. He spent the next several years caring for his wife, repairing small engines, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter Shirley J. Yuma, Mountain; his two grandchildren and their spouses, Gania and Harry Yuma-Jacquet, Cliff and Crystal Yuma, all of Oconto Falls; and his five great-grandchildren, Jael, Aries, Cliff Jr., Grant and Allison. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Ida Mae DeBauche, Ann and John Faikel, all of Green Bay, and his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death and welcomed into Heaven by his beloved wife Jean, his parents, his beloved sister and brothers, Bernice, Richard, Bernard, and Leland.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Friends may also call on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Deacon Bill Doran of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Suring, officiating.
