The Wells Family Research Bulletin was edited, compiled and memeographed by Elaine Ramsten Wells of Grandview, Texas between February 1973 and December 1975. It was discontinued due to illness in Elaine's family.
This publication contained 492 pages packed with Wells specific information from all over the US but primarily focused on the Wells families who originated from Maryland and Pennsylvania south.
We hope to eventually place the entire bulletin on-line including the complete index to help researchers find information on their families if they were covered by this publication.
On 30 July 2000 the first piece of The Wells Family Research Bulletin was placed on-line consisting of Volume 3 Number 1. There is no particular reason for this issue being first other than this is where we started. Other issues will be added as time allows.
We are indebted to Mr. Alan Resmondo who painstakingly scanned copies of the old memeographed pages and ran them through an OCR program. This will likely not be perfect and although we have made every effort to correct any errors caused by the scanning of the imperfect copies, errors are likely to slip by. If you find any, please advise us so we can correct them.
