Hours of operation are: Monday - 9 to 5; Tuesday - 9 to 5; Wednesday - 9 to 9; Thursday - 9 to 9; Saturday - 10 to 2

The Shoreline Family History Center is located at 22015 48th Avenue in Mountlake Terrace. The entrance to the Center is in the NORTH wing of the church building (left side of the image above). The parking lot is behind the building, and can be accessed via the ONE WAY DRIVEWAY on the SOUTH side of the building.

It's always a good idea to call ahead to be sure that the Center IS open!  Telephone number is 425-776-6678.

Directions:

FROM NORTHBOUND I-5,  take Exit 181 (44th Ave.)  Stay in right lane and proceed to intersection with 44th at the end of the exit.  Turn right on 44th and drive south on 44th W. up the hill to the intersection with 212th St. SW.  Turn right on 212th and drive west one long block to 48th Ave. W.  Turn left onto 48th and drive south 8 blocks (speed limit is 25 mph). FHC is on left at the 22000 block.  Drive past the church and enter the campus on the SOUTH side of the building.  The parking area is at the rear of the building, with the entrance to the Center on the NORTH side of the building.

FROM SOUTHBOUND I-5,  take exit 181 (196th Street SW).  Drive west on 196th, merging into left lane.  Turn left at traffic light onto 44th Ave. W (the "Fred Meyer Intersection") and proceed south on 44th under the freeway and up the hill to the traffic light at the top of the hill, the  intersection with 212th St. SW.  Turn right on 212th and drive west one long block to 48th Ave. W.  Turn left onto 48th and drive south 8 blocks (speed limit is 25 mph).  FHC is on left at the 22000 block.  Drive past the church and enter the campus on the SOUTH side of the building.  The parking area is at the rear of the building, with the entrance to the Center on the NORTH side of the building.

FROM FRED MEYER'S IN LYNNWOOD, corner of 196th and 44th.  Drive south on 44th Ave. W, under the freeway, then up the hill to the intersection of 44th and 212th.  Turn right on 212th, drive west one long block to 48th.  Turn left on 48th and drive south 8 blocks  (speed limit is 25 mph).  FHC is on left at the 22000 block.  Drive past the church and enter the campus on the SOUTH side of the building.  The parking area is at the rear of the building, with the entrance to the Center on the NORTH side of the building.

FOOD SERVICES -  There are many Fine Dining Opportunities about a mile away at the Cedar Plaza Shopping Center located at the southeast corner of 228th and 44th. Here you'll find a Mexican  restaurant, a pizza restaurant, and Voula's family style restaurant.  The QFC in the shopping center has a service deli which offers sandwiches, small salads, etc.   Cattiwumpus across the intersection of 228th and 44th is a drive through  Subway sandwich shop.

Please remember - the volunteer staff at the Shoreline Family History Center in Mountlake Terrace is always busy helping the Center's patrons. The staff can not take telephone requests for look-ups.
