The Michael Trebert Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution
Michael Trebert Chapter was organized by Mrs.
Thomas L. Harrington on November 6, 1916. She was the Organizing Regent and
the first Regent. The Revolutionary Ancestor of Mrs. Harrington was Michael
Trebert. He was a true Patriot of the Revolution, serving from September 9,
1776, to the end of the war.
Michael Trebert Chapter has donated a copy of the "FORGOTTEN PATRIOTS" book to the following high schools: Sequim, Port Angeles and Forks.
Cynthia Bork, American Elm Heritage Project and Tammy French, Forks High School American History Teacher stand in front of a display of the Liberty Tree created by her 11th grade class. Forks elementary, middle and high school are partners of the American Elm Heritage Project with a goal of educating students about the American elm and its role in early American history.
