    KRUGG, the Seattle boodler, was convicted last Tuesday.
    The WALLACE divorce case was thrown out of court on Tuesday by Judge GRAVES.
    The type-written report of Ree?? ?? Power is one of the neatest pieces of work ever filed at the court house.  It was done by Ed KEISTER.
    Esau BALTIMORE, charged with the murder of a woman at Roslyn, was arraigned on Tuesday and entered a plea of not guilty.  The court
appointed C. V. WARNER to defend him.
    It does our citizens good to see the doors of the stone bank again thrown open for business.  The corner of Fourth and Pearl streets
now looks much livelier than it has since last May.

    J. H. WELLS of Tacoma has been in town several days.
    A. S. GROSS has returned from his annual trip to San Francisco.
    Dr. and Mrs. B. S. SCOTT are visiting at Roslyn, the guests of Dr. PORTER.
    E. T. WILSON returned Sunday morning from a business trip to Montana.
    Mrs. J. C. CLYMER gives a tea to her lady friends this afternoon at her home.
    Mrs. N. E. SANDEL and Mrs. Frank MARTIN of Thorp have been visiting Mrs. W. D. CARTER.
    J. A. McCANDLESS sailed from Vancouver last Friday on the steamer Warrimoo, bound for Honolulu.
    Mrs. SIDWELL and Mrs. GRAY entertained their lady friends at the home of the latter last Thursday afternoon.
    Mrs. J. B. DAVIDSON gave a tea last Saturday afternoon in honor of Mesdames GRIMES, PETERSON, PROWELL and THIELSEN.
    Governor FULLER of Vermont and State Senators N. W. FISK and Edgar FLEURY of the same state, spent last Monday in the city, guests
of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. HUBBELL.
    Miss Bel?? HARRIS leaves today for Riverside, Cal., accompanied by her mother.  Miss HARRIS has been prominent in business and social
circles here for the past two years, and she leaves many friends who wish her success in her new home.
    Mr. and Mrs. C. S. PROWELL and Miss Maggie PROWELL left yesterday for their new home at Kiona.  By the departure of these splendid
people, Ellensburgh sustains a loss that will be keenly felt...

    Miss Grace STEPHENSON returned from her home at North Yakima Tuesday morning.  She went home last Friday on account of the illness of
her mother, but we are happy to hear that Mrs. STEPHENSON is better.
