Website content is solely owned by Elizabeth Ellington Chapter.
Organized February 15, 1926, in Bremerton by Organizing Regent Mrs. Cora Burlew, the chapter was named in honor of Lady Elizabeth Ellington. Lady Ellington, who lived in New York at the beginning of the Revolution, laid aside her English title to support the colonists' cause. Local benefactress Angie Weber Harrison was a 30-year member of our chapter and proceeds from the sale of her house and furnishings have funded many chapter projects over the years.
