Greetings!

Many thanks to Marilyn Beale and Helen Lowe for bringing yummy traditional treats!!

Announcements:

Nov 2, the 2013 Family History Fair will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 in the Bellevue Stake Center located at 14536 Main Street, Bellevue, WA 98029. Czech out their website for more information: http://www.wafamilyhistory.net

Nov 16 is our Thanksgiving Potluck!!! Be thinking what you want to bring!!

It was a smaller group but we had a quality meeting. Three of us had attended the SVU Conference at the UW so we told about that. HELEN LOWE helped with the registration at the conference, too. KAE ELLINGSEN shared information about her visit to the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library in Cedar Rapids. It was her first time seeing the new building. Then she went to Spillville IA to see the Dvorak & Bily Brothers Clock Museums. And there was more Czech heritage to find in the town, also!!

I shared some Josef Lada books and pictures. What fun those are!!

We discussed the fact that the Polish & Croatians have festivals and more people here. That brought a story from MARTHA SOLTESZ. As a teenager she attended the dances at the Polish Hall with her friend and enjoyed the dancing and culture.

WE CAME UP WITH SOME HEARTWARMING STORIES AND GREAT SHARING. THANK YOU EVERY ONE!!!

Happy Researching,

Rosie
