1. Joseph Savaria, son of Jean Baptiste Savaria and Catherine Dussault, m. (l) 11 January 1825, St. Cyprien de Napierville, Olive Hethier/Ethier, daughter of Jean Baptiste Hethier/Ethier dit Quay dit Dragon and of Agathe Dubeau. She died before 1838. m. (2) 27 February 1838, St. Valentin, Marie Ann Gobert, of unknown parentage.

1.1 Joseph Savaria, born c. 1827, died 7 July 1828, buried 8 July 1828 at St-Cyprien-de-Napierville.

1.2 Theodule/Theodore/Teot/Theode Savaria/Sabre, b. 25 June 1830 and baptized 26 June 1830, St. Cyprien de Napierville.m. (1) 11 February 1850, St. Valentin, Delphine _ _ (of unknown parentage); m. (2) 13 April 1853, Alburg, Vt., Marcelline Akey/Hickey, b. c. 1818--died 12 March 1894, Alburg, Vt., age 76 years. He died 14 April 1889; buried 16 April 1889, Methodist Church, Clarenceville, P.Q.

Oct. 1860, Clarenceville, P.Q., baptized 6 January 1861, Henryville. He was buried 23 September 1939, Clarenceville, P.Q., R.C.

1.4 Joseph Savaria, b. August 1839, baptized 21 September 1839, St. Valentin. Died 5 December and buried 7 December 1843, Henryville.

1.7 Jean Baptiste Savaria/John Sabre, born 17 November 1846 and baptized 17 December 1846, St. Valentin. m. 7 December 1874, Chazy, N.Y., Mary A. Monty, daughter of Joseph Monty and Margaret Gregware. Buried 24 April 1909, Riverside Cemetery, Chazy, N.Y. There is an article on this man in the _History of Clinton and _Franklin Co. N.Y._, 1880, page 326, but containing many errors on his family.

(2) 25 November 1884, Alburg, Vt., Cora Hunter, b. 1864--d. 1901, daughter of John and Salvina (Mott) Hunter. Died 1906 at Alburg Center, Vt.
