The ancestry of the following family has not been identified. However, it is apparently not closely related to the above DeMarce line.

Note: there is buried at Altona, N.Y., Father Louis B. Demers, died 1 March 1888, age 49, and with him Christine Demers, died 15 February 1883, age 85 years. Is it possible that this would be the mother of this family and another son? If so, the son, as a priest, should be relatively easy to trace.
