The society maintains an 1830 residence with period rooms. There are manuscripts, costumes, memorabilia, and items of local interest.
Hours and Admission: by appointment. Not accessible to the disabled.
Census reporting ends with the 1820 census. There were over 50 separate items of data gathered in the 1830 census. That fact and that names are not in alphabetical order make it impractical to report later years.
In July 2004 Robert S. Boyce of Chelsea assembled a DVD, hereafter referred to as the DVD, containing information about cemeteries in Chelsea. On Aug 18, 2011 he granted permission for me to use his work in this website. My thanks go to Mr. Boyce for his magnificent efforts. The sections entitled Introduction and Chelsea Roads have not been changed. Values for GPS coordinates were derived from the DVD and have not been verified by myself.
