The Aiken School has not yet been located. The Aiken District was in the Garland Hill region west of McIndoes Falls.
The Barnet Center School was located at the intersection of the road across from the Barnet Center Presbyterian Church, was a one room school and was demolished years ago when the turn in the road was redesigned.
The Barnet Village School was located on Church Street in the village of Barnet, was a two room school consisting of grades one through four in the room to the right and grades five through eight in the room to the left as you face the building. The building is now the Barnet Library
The Copenhagen School has not yet been located and may never be as the site was inundated by the headwaters of the Comerford Dam. The hamlet of Copenhagen actually lay within the town of Waterford. A rough approximation of the hamlet of Copenhagen is given.
The County School was located on the road immediately west of the County Cemetery and is now a private residence.
The East Barnet School is located on the east side of US Route 5 and is now privately owned.
The Four Corners School was located on the south side of the road between the West Barnet Road on the road to East Peacham and is now a private residence.
The Joe's Brook School was located on the north side of the Joe's Brook Road near the intersection of the road to Barnet Center and is now a private residence.
The McIndoes Academy was located on the east side of US Route 5 in McIndoes village and is now the McIndoes Library and Museum.
The McIndoes Village School was located on the east side of US Route 5 in the McIndoes village just north of the Academy and is now privately owned.
The Passumpsic School was located on the east side of US Route 5 in Passumpsic village north of the intersection of the road to West Waterford and is now privately owned.
The Walter Harvey School was located on the south side of the road between Mosquitoville and South Peacham. I do not know the status of the building at this time.
The West Barnet School was located on the west side of the West Barnet Road as one enters the village and is now privately owned. It was also known as the Grange Building.
