The Board and Officers of VFAR are pleased to announce that the archaeological materials and records from the excavations at Weyanoke Old Town, also known as 44PG0051 and "The Hatch Site", have been donated, in memory of Leverette B. ("Lefty") Gregory, to The Virginia Department of Historic Resources, where curation of the materials and study of the site's cultural significance will be greatly facilitated. 15 October 2016
