Utah Historical Society Burial Database: The Utah Historical Society has cemetery listings from many Utah cemeteries available for search on-line. As of 29 January 2003 the following Tooele County cemeteries were included: Faust Old Ranch Cemetery, Clover, Lake Point, the new Ophir Cemetery, the old Ophir Cemetery, Vernon, Iosepa, Stockton, Tooele City Cemetery, Tooele City Pioneer Cemetery, and the Mercur Cemetery.

Land Records: General Land Office Records The US Bureau of Land Management has for online searches for land patents. Some online images of the actual records are also available.

Newspapers: Microfilms of the Tooele Transcript/Bulliten begin with the September 1894 issue, although many subsequent issues are missing. These can be accessed through the Family History Library, or at the Tooele Public Library. The University of Utah has included digital reproductions of the Tooele Transcript Bulletin for the years, 1894-1924 and the Tooele County Chronicle 1947-1948 in their searchable online database. The online version of the transcript contains archives back to 1997.

Church records: The Family History Library has microfilm copies of most older LDS membership records as well as some records from other denominations for Tooele County congregations.

U.S. Census records for the years 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910, and 1920. These can be ordered from Family History Libraries as well as other locations.

Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum in Tooele: Located in Tooele City at 39 E Vine Street, the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum in Tooele was formerly known as the Pioneer City Hall. The rock used in the building was taken from Settlement Canyon in Tooele County. The building was used for a courthouse, city hall and amusement center until 1941, when the new city hall on Main Street in Tooele was completed. Later the building was turned over to the Daughters of Utah Pioneers for a Museum. The public is welcome to come in and see our many pictures, histories, and artifacts from Tooele County. We have published a Tooele County History Book containing history of Tooele County and some histories of early settlers, which sells for $30.00 until our next printing. There is also a Pioneer Log Cabin on the site. The photo and history collection of the Tooele County Daughters of Utah Pioneers is now being made available through an order form linked to their website. The museum is open on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during the summer, from Memorial Day until Labor Day. It is available to tour any other time by appointment.
