Our Oral History Room is finally open

It is equipped with a camcorder and other equipment which will enable you to preserve a video/audio history of yourself or a friend or loved one.

Currently experiencing problems with equipment interfacing. We hope to have it resolved quickly.

Staff members on each shift have been trained to assist you. Links to where you can obtain questionnaires, outlines and other materials to help you prepare are listed below.

We anticipate that most of the beginning histories will last approximately one hour, after which time the staff member who is helping you will transfer your recording to a DVD for you to keep or share with other family members.

As we begin this service, we anticipate that there will be some challenges and some issues to resolve, but we are looking forward to having you come to the Center and record these histories which will be a wonderful way to connect yourself with future generations.

We will charge a minimal fee of $5 to record and duplicate your history.

Call the Center (435-755-5594) to schedule a time to record your history. Our receptionist will ask you a few questions about the type of history you want to create and give you some basic instructions to help you prepare.

We look forward to having you use this facility and would appreciate any comments you might have on how we might best serve you as you and others create your video history.
