Ray, Byron 3

Byron N. Ray lives in Smithfield, Utah with his wife Cheryl. They are parents of 5 children, grandparents of 17 and great grandparents of 3.

Byron graduated from the University of Utah with a masters degree in social work and worked with the Church Social Service programs for 37 years. He served a mission in the French mission and still enjoys using the French language.

Although he has had an interest in family history for many years, his most recent exposure was when he and his wife were called to serve as Church Missionaries at the Family History Center. That call led to his being called as director of the Logan Regional Center where he enjoys serving with nearly 100 great volunteers and missionaries.

He enjoys many hobbies and interests including woodworking, stained glass, astronomy, photography, silver smithing and kicking rocks across the wilderness areas of the state.
