   2 M i. Daniel Lavery was born in Jan 1858 in , Armagh, N Ireland. He was christened on 7 Feb 1858 in , Armagh, N Ireland. 
   3 M ii. John Lavery was born in Jul 1860 in , Armagh, N Ireland. He was christened on 23 Jul 1860 in , Armagh, N Ireland. 

Sponsors at John's baptism were Henry McCorry and Mary Finnegan.

   4 F iii. Sarah Lavery was born in Dec 1862 in , Armagh, N Ireland. She was christened on 20 Dec 1862 in , Armagh, N Ireland. 

Sponsors at baptism of Sarah were John and Sarah Finnegan.

   5 M iv. Joseph Lavery was born on 27 Jun 1866 in Milltown, Lurgan, Armagh, N Ireland. He was christened on 29 Jun 1866 in Milltown, Lurgan, Armagh. He died in , RI, USA. He was buried in , RI, USA. 

Joseph arrived in US on the same ship as his relative Frank McGill; the SS Kaiserin Auguste Victoria, 9 Sep 1920 arrived NY from Liverpool. He left his uncle H Finnegan's house in Achagallon, Lurgan, N Ireland for his sister Mrs McAreavey's house at 16 Campbell Terrace, Pawtucket, RI, USA. His mother and Sarah Finnegan's mother were sisters. " Josie" McArevey's mother was a sister to Joseph. Joseph never married. His sister paid his passage. Sponsors at Joseph's baptism were Henry McCorry and Mary Finnegan. His sister Mary was baptised on the same day. Her sponsors were Henry Finnegan and Ellen Finnegan. See Mormon microfilm #0926089. 

   6 F v. Mary Lavery was born on 27 Jun 1866 in Milltown, Lurgan, Armagh, N Ireland. She was christened on 29 Jun 1866 in Milltown, Lurgan, Armagh. 

Mary was baptised the same day as her brother Joseph. Her sponsors were Henry Finnegan and Ellen Finnegan.

+ 7 F vi. Margaret Lavery was born in 1869. She died on 3 Nov 1945. 

   8 F vii. Llenagh Lavery was born in Nov 1872 in , Armagh, N Ireland. She was christened on 28 Nov 1872 in , Armagh, N Ireland.

Second Generation

7. Margaret Lavery (Thomas) was born in 1869 in , N Ireland. She died on 3 Nov 1945 in St Joseph Hospital, Providence, RI, USA. She was buried in Nov 1945 in St Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI, USA. Margaret married Felix McAreavey son of William McAreavey and Sarah McCorry in , N Ireland. Felix was born in May 1869 in Killaghy, Armagh, N Ireland. He was christened on 21 May 1869 in Killaghy, Armagh, N Ireland. He died on 4 Oct 1945 in Rhd Islnd Hsptl, Providence, RI, USA. He was buried in Oct 1945 in St Francis Cem, Pawtucket, RI, USA. 

Margaret,a widow, resided at 78 Pettis Street, Providence, RI at the time of her death from peritonitis. The informant for her death was her daughter Mary McGann of 78 Pettis Street, Providence, RI. Her undertaker was James Gallogly. See Mormon Microfilm # 0926089 for baptism. Margaret entered the United States in 1912. In 1920 she was employed in a lace mill.

Felix was a retired laborer for the Rhode Island Tool Company at the time of his death. He last worked at that occupation in 1935. He died from an autopsy finding of a subdural hematoma. This injury was the result of an automobile accident on North Main Street, Providence on 30 Sep 1945. His residence was 78 Pettis Street, Providence, RI. The informant for his death was his son William of 78 Pettis Street Providence. James Gallogly was his undertaker. Sarah Byrne was the sponsor for Felix at his baptism. See Mormon microfilm # 0926089. Felix entered the United States in 1912. 

On 13 Jan 1920; he, his wife and two sons were living at 20 Campbell Terrace in Pawtucket, RI. He is working as a blacksmith. In 1923, he is a laborer and living at 47 Corliss Street in Providence.

Felix and Margaret had the following children:
+ 10 M i. John William McAreavey was born on 2 Aug 1891. He died in Apr 1968. 
   11 F ii. Mary McAreavey . Mary married McGann
   12 M iii. Thomas McAreavey was born in 1895 in N Ireland. 

Thomas entered the United States in 1912 and became a United States citizen in 1918. In 1920 he is a laborer in a machine shop, and living with his parents on Campbell Terrace in Pawtucket, RI. In 1923 he is a laborer and living at 47 Corliss Street in Providence.

+ 13 M iv. Joseph McAreavey died in 1928. 



9. Sarah Lavery (Thomas) was born in 1873 in Lurgan, N Ireland. She died on 17 Jan 1941 in Chapin Hospital, Providence, RI. She was buried in Jan 1941 in St Francis Cem, Pawtucket, RI. Sarah married James McAreavey son of William McAreavey and Sarah McCorry in 1897 in , N Ireland. James was born in May 1867 in Killaghy, Armagh, N Ireland. He was christened on 23 May 1867 in Killaghy, Armagh, N Ireland. He died on 18 Jan 1934 in Providence, RI, USA. He was buried in Jan 1934 in St Francis Cem, Pawtucket, RI, USA. 

Sarah resided at 78 Pettis Street at the time of her death. She had been living in the US since 1910. The informant for her death was a nephew, Thomas McAreavey of 78 Pettis Street, Providence, RI. The cause of death was of a pulmanary/ cardiac condition. She was a widow at the time of her death. Gallogly was her undertaker. 
On 3 Jan 1920, she resided at 45 Corliss Street in Providence, RI. On 10 Apr 1930, she resided at 116 Pettis Street in Providence, RI.
James McAlreavey and Mary Clark were sponsors at baptism of James. Mormon microfilm # 0926089. James was a blacksmith for thirty years. He worked at this occupation until Jun 1933. He resided at 116 Pettis Street, Providence, RI at the time of his death. He had diabetes and died from pneumonia. He was buried by Thomas & Walter Quinn Inc. He entered the US in 1910. He was a naturalized citizen. On 3 Jan 1920, he and his wife were renting at 45 Corliss Street in  Providence, RI. He was working as a blacksmith in a tool shop.

James and Sarah had the following children:
    14 M i. John McAreavey died in Ireland. John died at age sixteen in Ireland.
    15 M ii. Joseph McAreavey was born in 1897 in Lurgan, Armagh, N Ireland. He died in , RI, USA. He was buried in , RI, USA. 

Joseph entered the US on the same ship as Frank McGill.; the Kaiserin Auguste Victoria; arriving 9 Sep 1920; sailing from Liverpool to NY. His uncle Joe Lavery was on the same ship. They were headed for his mother's house in Pawtucket, RI. He listed his uncle William McAreavey, Kilmore, Milltown, Armagh, Ireland as his closest relative in Ireland. His passage was paid by his father.
In 1923 he is a helper and living at 47 Corliss Street in Providence.

 


Third Generation

10. John William McAreavey (Margaret Lavery, Thomas) was born on 2 Aug 1891 in N Ireland. He died in Apr 1968 in Providence, RI. John married Anne Costello in , RI, USA. 

William "Willie" was the best man at the wedding of Frank McGill in 1925. He entered the United States  in 1910. Did he become a US citizen in 1918? 
In 1920, he is a laborer in a machine shop, and living with his parents on Campbell Terrace in Pawtucket,  RI.
In 1923 he is a laborer and living at 47 Corliss Street in Providence.

They had the following children:
+ 16 M i. James McAreavey was born in 1927. 
+ 17 F ii. Ann Marie McAreavey was born in 1929. 


13. Joseph McAreavey (Margaret Lavery, Thomas) died in 1928. Joseph married Mary Gallagher . Mary was born on 29 May 1892 in Ireland. She died in Feb 1987 in Pawtucket, RI. 

They had the following children:
     18 M i. James McAreavey .
     19 F ii. Margaret McAreavey .
     20 M iii. Joseph McAreavey .


Fourth Generation

16. James McAreavey (John William McAreavey, Margaret Lavery, Thomas) was born in 1927 in Providence, RI. James married Margaret Harrington

They had the following children:
     21 M i. William McAreavey .
     22 M ii. James McAreavey .
     23 F iii. Kathleen McAreavey .


17. Ann Marie McAreavey (John William McAreavey, Margaret Lavery, Thomas) was born in 1929 in Providence, RI. Ann married Robert Jones in Providence, RI. 

Jones inherited family's farm in Ireland and spends part of the year over there.

Robert and Ann had the following children:
     24 F i. Coleen Jones was born in , RI.  Coleen married Keane in , RI. 
     25 F ii. Barbara Jones .
     26 M iii. Robert Jones .
     27 M iv. Neil Jones .
     28 M v. Barry Jones was born in , RI.
