1. James DEVANEY was born in 1837 in Ireland. He died in Oct 1901 in Preston, England.
James married Mary HIGGINS . Mary was born in 1842 in Ireland.
They had the following children:

Mary married Ambrose WILDING in Sep 1888 in Preston, England.

6 M v. Owen DEVANEY was born in 1872 in Preston, England. He died in 1873 in Preston, England.

Second Generation
2. Bridget DEVANEY (James) was born in 1867. She died on 21 Jan 1909 in Fall River, MA. She was buried in St. Patrick's Church, Fall River MA.
"Mrs. Bridget Mitchell, a well known resident of the southern section of the city, died last night at her home, 1482
South Main Street. The deceased attended St. Patrick's Church and had a large following of friends who will regret to
learn of her death. She is survived by a husband, Frank Mitchell, a mother, Mrs. Mary Devaney and three daughters
Mary, Ellen and Mabel and one son, James and to them much sympathy is extended. A high mass of requiem will be
offered tomorrow at 8 AM for the repose of her soul at St. Patrick's church. The funeral will occur on Sunday
afternoon". It also indicated that New Bedford and Pawtucket papers please copy.
Bridget married Frank MITCHELL on 31 Dec 1885.
