1. Patrick CUMMINGS (William, Dominick) was born in co Roscommon, IRL, son of William and Deborah (Dolan) Cummings. Patrick may have had 4 brothers, but the information has not been proven. Patrick’s father, William was the son of Dominick Cummings, and Dominick probably also had a son Thomas.
Patrick married Catherine MCGLYNN.
NOTES: In 1869, John Cummings had a house at 36 Traverse St. in Providence. In the same year in the
city directory, a Catherine Cummings, widow, was living next door to John at 40 Traverse St. Could this
have been his mother?

NOTES: John came to Fall River MA abt 1855 with his wife Mary, and had
moved to Providence by 1858. The birth record of the stillborn child born in Providence in 1858 stated it
was their fourth child. In the birth records of some of the children in 1858 to 1861 in Providence, their
address was given as 71 Wickenden St. They moved back to Fall River by 1873, when they appeared in
the city directory there.
